I must confess, I love food. All of it. Cooking it. Serving it. Eating it. Eating it again the next day. I think the only thing I don’t like about food is gaining weight from it. I often find myself looking for recipes like most people binge watch TV shows. I’m usually on the hunt for tried and true crowd pleasers, and have discovered the value of reading the comments section of recipes I find on the Internet. People who have made the dish tend to be rather forthcoming with their ideas on how to improve the recipe, sometimes brutally so, but helpful nonetheless. And rarely will I make a recipe for the first time without a trial run on an unsuspecting husband. Sorry Not Sorry.
My recipe pet peeves include when no picture is provided ~ you need to know what the final product is supposed to look like, am I right? And asking for obscure ingredients; like who has pine nuts in her cupboard? Have you seen the price of pine nuts lately? And forget it if there are over a dozen or more ingredients – too much effort.

This is my favorite Spaghetti Sauce recipe, but if you don’t want to make the meatballs, I usually just brown some ground beef and add the cooked meat crumbles to the sauce. It also tastes great meatless. Adjust the salt to your taste. And the more the sauce cooks, the better it tastes.
